Where Am I?........Then Sings My Soul Saturday

The things in my past might make some Christians gawk, while others, with a simple fling of the wrist would say, " That ain't nothin' girl, listen to this.....!"

I have always tried my best to never judge others. I do this only because I know the place where I come from, and because I know the place where I am going.
I am a work in progress. God chooses certain things to work on and then moves on to the next. It is a gradual process that will last my lifetime.

So if you asked me where I am in my walk with Jesus....this is what I'd say:

I love it Cheri. God is still working on all of us, it is a process, a lifetime of learning, growing and changing.

God bless - Laurie

I agree that it's a gradual process. Those who act like they have it all together aren't being truthful. But, what's important is that we keep growing closer to Him, for eternity.

I love it!! I have never heard this before and it rings true for me too! I just talked about being a work in progress too - I don't want non-believers to think that since I'm a Christian I'm perfect. God works on me everyday (multiple times a day). Thanks for sharing! Who sings the song? I think it's a must purchase!

Wow -- I have never heard this before, but what a powerful song! I would say that's about where I am, too. Everyday is such a new learning experience when I follow God.. and even on those where I don't follow so well. Thanks for sharing this song with us today!

Have a great weekend.

I had read the lyrics to this song, but I had never actually heard it! So great! I am going to have to let my husband listen to it!

I am so glad I am not who I was and so thankful I am not who I am going to be! Praise the Lord!!!

Andrea,Casting Crowns sings this one! Their new Cd 'The Alter and The Door' is awesome! Every song rings so true.

God has for sure given this group a talent to use for His glory!

Love this..sums it up doesn't it!

We are all on that journey, none of us will "arrive" until we are in glory! But oh, what a journey it becomes when we are taking each step with Jesus...

Love you girl and so appreciate your heart for our Savior! You are beautiful and our King is enthralled by your beauty.

I love Casting Crowns, and I'd heard OF their song The Altar and The Door, but I hadn't heard it. What a great message.

This is my absolute favorite song on this CD. I posted the words to it on my blog a while ago. I even talked about it on my interview with CWO. I love it! It is so true... all of Casting Crowns songs are. I hadn't seen the video.
Thanks for sharing.

Did you ever sing the song "He's still workin' on me?" We used to sing it at church when I was little. It goes like this, "He's still workin' on me, to make me what I ought to be. It took Him just a week to make the moon and stars. The sun and the earth and jupiter and mars. How loving and patient He must be. He's still workin' on me." Praise Him that in His strenght and power we can daily me more like Him.

Hey, I saw your comment over at A Planting of the Lord. A.W. Tozer wrote a book called The Attributes of God that you might be interested in. I referenced his book a lot while I was writing a Bible Study on the character of God based on His names. Good, good book.

Do you live in Alabama?

Blessings, sister.

Hey, girl. The reason I asked if you lived in Alabama was because I just put this Feedjit thing on my blog that's suppose to show me where people are coming to visit from. It said you had come by way of Alabama. We used to live there, that's why I asked. Anyway, I'm still trying to figure the thing out. Sometimes technology gets the best of me.

I am having a blessed day. Thanks for asking. How have you been doing lately with your words? Are you being a blessing?

Blessings,
Jen
