The year 2000!

Dear Kyle,
We have been married for 8 years today. What a journey it has been.

I wanted to tell you what made me fall in love with you....you bought me flowers. It was just a simple thing like that. I know that may seem silly- but it's true. I had never had anyone treat me with such care. You loved me from the start, I have no doubt.

The first couple of years we were married you really had to put up with a lot from me. And for that I want to say thank you. Thank you for sticking around and not giving up on me. No other man ever took the time.... the time to show me what love is really all about. You opened my eyes to see and my heart to feel.

Just a few weeks ago you had brought flowers home to me. There was no specific occasion, as usual, you just brought them home. I know you didn't hear this because you were downstairs, but Dallas said, " I sure hope I marry a man like that." Our daughter wants to marry a man like her father. What more could I possibly hope for. I will never forget her saying that. She is watching you and she is going to be a teenager very soon. It is so exciting for me to know that she has such a great man to look up to.

Not even a week after that our oldest son, while sitting on the couch with me, said " I want a wife like you." "What kind of wife is that I asked?" "One that cooks good food and keeps the house clean and takes good care of her kids." My little mommy heart melted.

After hearing all of that, it is evident to me that we must be doing something right. Our children want what we have in our marriage. How special is that? How could we ask for more?

Happy Anniversary!

I LOVE YOU!!

How wonderfully awesome that your children see two parents who love the Lord, love each other, and love their children. What more could they ask for? I hope you have a blessed anniversary day, my friend!

Much love and continued blessings upon your family,

HAPPY 8TH ANNIVERSARY!

What a grand testimony that your children what to be more like you! So many of us forget that our little people are watching us and I often ask myself "do my kids see Christ in me"?

You keep on loving God and loving each other and those little people in your life will know what REAL love is, by your example.

God Bless your special Day!
love Laurie
