To Lisa:

This song goes out to my friend Lisa. We have been friends since we were babies. She is an atheist. I'm almost 100% positive that she will never see this, but if by some crazy chance she does, I want her to know this...

I love you more than you know. I pray for you...

Oh, I love this song. And it is so relevant now. My heart is so heavy for the unsaved lately. I am so desperate for the ones I love to know Him!! I will pray for Lisa - and if she is reading THIS:
Lisa, He loves you. He wants to save you. He wants you to know Him and love Him and be with Him forever. Yes, I suppose that maybe it is a little tough to believe all that we believe in. But, what if we ARE right? Where does that leave you? Please just give him a chance and ask Him to show Himself to you... I promise you, if you let Him, He WILL!

I really like this song. I love the pictures they use in the video. I love to see each week the different songs and videos. They inspire me and make me feel good. Don't give up on your friend. She is blessed to have a friend who continues to pray for her all the years. You are a great friend to her. Somehow I knew you would be someone I would want in my corner if needed.

Have a wonderful weekend! Keep cool it is going up to 95 degrees in good ole Jemison, AL..Yikes!!! It is HOT!

Cheri, I love this song. I too picked a Nicole Nordeman song for todays TSMSS. She has such great messages thru her worship. I pray that your unsaved friend will see your blog and that the words of the song will minister to her heart. -Blessings, Laurie

I "almost" posted this as my song last week...I love Nicole Nordeman and this song has been huge in helping me to sit back and rest in who HE is.

Thanks for a great song choice!! Love it!

Awesome video. I think a lot of us have friends that are either Atheist or on the fence and it's so hard because you want them to know what you know so they can all come home with you at the end and it seems like some people are just hard to crack. Or like your friend they may not see this blog, but you want them to know it and see it. Very hard place to be in.

I love Nichole and especially this song. I posted this on my blog a few weeks back hoping one of my unsaved friends would see it because she had been asking me questions about "if" it's all true with Jesus. Not sure if she heard it, but I think it really makes ya think.

That was an awesome video and song. I love to visit the different blogs and see the songs and comments about everyone trying to pick just one each week.

Cheri, do not give up on your friend and even though you are not seeing the outward signs of change, Our God is an awesome God and He is working in Lisa's life, as you see things that you know are from God in her life, around those you know mutually and even in your own life, share every morsel with her. You may be shocked to find out her heart is softening. A friend of mine, got saved but did not tell me, they told a mutual friend they were too embarrassed to have to tell me they were wrong and felt guilty for all the conversations, debates and tears we shared before they got it. Share and pray and keep the faith that on that glorious day we are lifted in the clouds she will be there. :)

Thanks Cheri...and I pray that LISA does hear this or better yet hear HIM calling her and BELIEVES with her heart and confesses HIM as Lord! I LOVED this song and have many friends (and even my husband) that should hear it! Now, how do I get them to listen...maybe give it to them as a gift, just as the Heavenly father gave Jeus, to us and the gift(s) of His Holy Spirit! Satnding with you for your dear FRIEND and also, because I just started reading the post below this that you make NEW FRIENDS at your church or where you are at without fear of loosing them by moving again. My heart is broken as I started to read that one! Please Lord, help Cheri, move beyond her reluctance to make friends because she may have to leave them...be her FRIEND for all times but help her and have someone reach out to her with a like kindness...I know how you feel. I'm far away from my friends, and there are times, I come to church, and leave early just so I don't have to worry about making friends or connecting with anyone! May God mend & make the friendships He wants & bridge the gap when we move away from them! Be blessed and be not afraid!

Hi Cheri - I just wanted to drop by and say thanks for the kind message you left at my place a few weeks ago (I'm behind with all the business of summer too) - and back at ya for sure!! You're too sweet and I always look forward to hearing your music selections and reading the posts you lovingly write! Have a blessed day :-)
